  1. …hurt? hurt? i think thats an understatement. coupled with emotional trauma, being made a fool out of…exposing yourself and feelings…bearing all…only to have it thrown back at you…and u ask hurt???…

wait? are we talkin about love or gettin dumped?(snappin back to reality!)

    Which bit:
    – When you love someone that doesnt love you back?
    – When someone loves you, and you dont(your previous post)and you dont wanna hurt them?
    -When you lose love?

Or .. The sweet bit when its reciprocated (had to leave that till last coz its not supposed to hurt, right? Right?

@Nick- LOL- sounds like you’ve been through the mill – and back.

You two, I love you, and my brand doesnt hurt (or at least its not meant to)

Yes to both Q’s. Hope this makes your day Farmgal…you’re the sweetest & for that you deserve so much love till it hurts:))

  4. Prousette says:

When in love the person is terribly vulnerable hence prone to hurt about things that would not normally make one wince.

No, love (loving) does not hurt. It feels totally awesome to love someone if expecting nothing in return (this is why crushes are so wonderful).
If perchance the sentiments/actions/feelings are reciprocated THIS is heaven. If rebuffed or returned less than expected HELL must be located in this scenario.

@babyface ..back to reality is what am talking about. lakini who did you in like that? you can talk to me you know!

@guess the sweet bit babe mpaka it hurts, especially when that someone is far away.

@akiey aaaaaawwww aaaaaawwwwww you too my dear!

@prousette we are talking sweet love till it hurts (ache) you know what i mean.

  6. The Stain of Loving

Bittersweet has always been the taste of love
The ache and the glow are equal partners
Love ought to be measured by the good feelings rather than by the hurt.

Love is related to hurt and they spend a lot of time together
It is said that while Love is the stronger of the two
Pain is never far off, forever within earshot
It will manifest itself in jealousy falsehoods and mistrust

Love is like that overripe fruit dripping with sweetness
That matter how hard you try will drip from the corners of your mouth
And soil the new shirt you wear leaving the stain.

Armed with experiences of other people we forge ahead in life
Looking for loveā€¦. Mostly in the wrong places
When found it holds promise but still proves elusive to tame
Hurting ourselves is a lesson that teaches us that love is the healer

In attempting to harness the glow it will suffocate
Transferring its life energy to the cousin
Growing stronger, weaving a shield around your heart.

Take courage, bite into the fruit with wild abandon
Celebrate the sweetness with the knowledge
That the fabric of life is a collection that cannot be complete
Without a little stain of loving. A little stain of pain.
